The Tavern was created by T’chell many big-bangs ago. You see, his people thought they were so perfect that they decided never to change, so they asked their chief engineer to remove the dimension of time, which he did but he kept a back door open, a bubble on their timeless continuum, where now for a very long time he has
hosted other species and serviced their needs via the artificial being called The Tavern which
can manipulate quantum mechanics and perform numerous amazing feats including fabrication,
teleportation, selective personal environments with customized gravity, atmosphere, telepathic
communication, and even scaling to make larger beings appear smaller or smaller beings
appear larger. In an attempt to make them feel at home, The Tavern also appears differently to
different species but has always appeared as a rather homey pub to Max and Elaine.
