One of Jupiter’s moons, Callisto has become an important site for harvesting hydrogen directly from Jupiter’s atmosphere. The orbiting CORC module is the first stage of the colonization project though the original colony gradually digs in below the moon’s surface and morphs into a way-point for travelers between the inner and outer bands of the solar system. By the way, Callista was born orbiting this eponymous moon.
