The larger of Mars’s two moons houses research laboratories on one end and the main Martian Navy depot on the other. The probability drive, or p-drive, was first developed and tested on Phobos, a technology that allows animate and inanimate matter to be teleported between terminals. Coupled with a line of sight laser (LOSL), the p-field enables instantaneous communication across vast distances without the usual signal delay.
